Establish the Look

MadWerkz Look Development specialist work with the Cinematographer before the shoot to establish a look that helps bring the vision of the filmmaker into reality. Using SpeedGrade OnSet, cinematographers have a simple means of establishing looks right at the beginning of the project. The application provides easy-to-use tools for grading still-frames or single images in a longer sequence.

MadWerkz can grade RAW files from all digital cinema cameras used in production today. RAW support includes the ARRI D21, DALSA, Phantom, RED, Silicon Imaging SI-2K and Weisscam formats.

Evolve the Look

Using SpeedGrade OnSet means non-destructive grading technology: Looks are applied to the image, not burned into it. Looks remain editable at all times: they can be saved, modified, and re-used on new images

Exchange Looks

Once a Look is chosen, it can be shared with the Colorist and exported in CDL format for inclusion into our Apple Color or Assimilate Scratch Grading platforms.
